Safety Cooking Apron
The FRANKFURTER BRETT cooking apron combines functional design, high-quality materials, and elegant style with a safety mechanism inspired by professional chef jackets. Perfect for long cooking evenings or entire Sundays in the kitchen.
Available in two material options – classic with leather details or animal-free with canvas details and premium faux leather.
At hip level, there are two generously sized pockets for personal items like keys, phone, or bottle opener.
In the center, there is a wide strip of reinforced material – the center console. It offers space for three small insert pockets, intended for tasting spoons, pens, or tweezers.
Below that, a large lined pocket for phone or recipe book.
The strap system consists of wide straps threaded through the sides and tied behind the back. Initially a bit unusual, but usually becomes routine after the first three uses. The carrying system is attached to the apron with strong snap buttons – so it can be easily removed for washing.
The snap button attachment also conceals the apron’s safety mechanism. For example, if hot liquids like boiling water or hot oil are accidentally spilled, the entire apron can be quickly pulled off the body using the yellow “Quick-Release Tabs” with a decisive tug. The reinforced layers of the center console give the cook a few extra seconds to free themselves from the apron before the hot liquid reaches the skin. This is a crucial safety advantage that reduces the contact time of the boiling liquid with the skin and can prevent serious injuries in an emergency.
Hand-sewn in Greece, the apron is made from two materials:
Durable Italian cotton or printed, breathable polyester on the outside, with a luxurious lining on the inside that feels cool and soft even on warm days.
