Our brand new EASY PADS™
Flexible cutting pads in various sizes that can be used easily and effortlessly for many everyday kitchen scenarios, with no fixed purpose but intentionally kept as open as possible. The pads are surprisingly easy and fun to use—and since the first prototypes have been in our show kitchen, they’ve been in constant use: We’re all huge fans here, especially for how they improve overall hygiene around our office kitchen :)
(The new EASY PADS complement the original BBQ Pad and create a whole new product category. The BBQ Madness Pad is simply renamed No. 3 but remains the same.)

No. 1
Originally intended as a small base for the back corner of the board, where garlic & chili can be cut without their strong aromas soaking into the board and causing surprises the next morning when someone eats an apple cut in the same spot.
During product development, we found the small, handy size encouraged constant use: as a scraper for leftovers, a small cutting surface at the dinner table for quickly chopping forgotten fresh herbs, or as a tasting mat next to the stove to quickly check food consistency.

No. 2
Designed as a flexible base to keep delicate aromas like pineapple or fruit separate from the board’s possibly non-neutral taste, our No. 2 also revealed an unexpected main benefit in practical tests:
Its ideal size lets you quickly cut something in between without dirtying the board and having to clean it again.
Place the mat, chop, put the waste in the attached container, then put the mat in the dishwasher or rinse it briefly—done.

No. 3
The perfect addition to every Frankfurt board—not only for barbecues, carving, and basically any food prep involving a lot of liquid, but also as a universal, easy-to-clean work surface for all kinds of kitchen tasks.
Any excess liquid is effectively contained by the surrounding juice rim at the pad’s edges, and by slightly lifting the pad and folding it along the bottom groove toward the drip edge, excess liquid can be drained directly into the front container.

Like our famous BBQ MADNESS PAD (now EASY PAD™ - No. 3), all pads are made of TPU, a plastic used in medical technology.
TPU is thermoplastic (meaning it can be shaped by heat and reshaped when reheated), so please place the pads as flat as possible in the dishwasher without bending them, and let them cool down lying flat.
