A REAL WORKBENCH
During the week, I usually feel a bit sad when I use my board. Because then it’s mostly just used for everyday tasks. Onions, garlic, cucumber, bell pepper, but also fruit.
Still, that’s not enough for the board. On weekends, I like to take my time for elaborate cooking. That’s when the board truly lives up to its function as a workbench. The Phönix S fits perfectly on a kitchen cabinet from the lovely Swedes and can be equipped with Containers on all four sides. That makes working so enjoyable. Storage, trash bin, ingredients, and accessories. Everything exactly where it belongs.
Of course, sometimes a bit spills over when maneuvering the cut ingredients into the Containers. But organizing the cooking process becomes much, much more relaxed. It’s simply more fun than without my board.
After a cutting/cooking weekend with a few drinks, you can definitely see the board’s use. A little oil helps. Apply thinly and wipe well, and it looks like new again.
