The knife blade glides cleanly and without pressure at a precise angle through two ceramic grinding wheels, which then rotate and grind the blade in two steps, first coarsely and then finely.
The water-cooled ceramic wheels - unlike sharpening steels and the like - do not just temporarily reset the edge of the blades, but through the recurring, consistent grinding process they carefully build up the substance of the blades in a way that is suitable for grinding and create a blade geometry that retains its edge over time and is not only lightning-sharp, but also impresses with its impressive blade stability.

It is so easy to use and produces reliable results that sharpening knives is no longer frustrating and time-consuming, but becomes a satisfying part of cooking.

Directions:
1 – Fill the water reservoir through the filling channel (drop icon) up to the mark.
2 – Coarse grinding: Move the knife through slot #1 (1 point) 15-20 times with very little pressure.
3 – Fine grinding: Move the knife without pressure (only its own weight) 15-20 times through slot #2 (2 points).
Both grinding processes can be performed either by a back and forth movement or only in one direction.
4 – Remove cover, pour out water
5 – Rinse out front compartment & replace lid.
For knife freaks: Let the grinding wheels soak in water for 15 minutes beforehand. To do this, place the front part of the grinder in a water bath.
Important: The wheels must be completely covered with water.
